Death Watch Bunker

Heroic Lvl 80+
Death Watch Bunker — placeholder image

The Death Watch Bunker is the flagship POI of Endor and the only source of Mandalorian Armor schematics in the game. It is a multi-stage group dungeon staged inside a buried Mandalorian bunker, and unlike the Chapter 7 heroics it is older content that pre-dates the Aurilia heroic system — but is universally listed as heroic group content on every Restoration source.

The fight

The fight is the Death Watch Bunker on Endor, accessed from the Endor Smuggler Outpost. Recommended combat level is 80+ for the deep sections, though entry-level rooms are tractable at 75. Faction is irrelevant. Restoration’s recommended group size is eight. Unlike the Chapter 7 heroics, the Death Watch Bunker does not use a discrete lockout timer — it is open POI content, but a clean crawl typically runs 2–3 hours.

How to start

Travel to the Endor Smuggler Outpost and head to the Death Watch Bunker POI in central Endor. There is no formal pre-quest gate — entry is at the bunker door, and groups self-organize.

Group composition

The bunker is famous for crafting requirements as well as combat — Engineering and Munitions Trader specialists are required to actually craft the Mandalorian Armor inside the bunker rooms:

  • 1 tank: Jedi or Pikeman holds the Death Watch named officers; trash mobs in the bunker are aggressive but tractable.
  • 2 healers: two Medic or Combat Medic, since the run is long and sustained healing matters more than burst.
  • 3–5 DPS: Bounty Hunter is thematically and mechanically excellent here; Commando, Rifleman, and Pistoleer round out the line.
  • Trader specialists: an Engineering Trader is needed for the helmet, bracers, and jetpack; a Munitions Trader crafts the chestplate, biceps, and boots. Without both specialists in the group, Mandalorian Armor cannot be crafted.
  • Buff support: an Entertainer (Dancer or Musician) is recommended; Death Watch mercenaries deal mixed kinetic and energy damage.

Strategy

The bunker is structured as a series of progressively harder rooms:

  • Outer rooms: standard Mandalorian trash. Clear methodically; do not pull two rooms together.
  • Crafting rooms: the armorsmith room and droid engineer room hold the workbenches where Mandalorian Armor is actually crafted. Clear them and post a guard while the Trader specialists work.
  • Deep rooms: Death Watch named lieutenants drop the schematic shards. Multiple named bosses are gated behind these rooms.
  • Boss chamber: the bunker’s final encounters; mechanics vary by patch, verify in-game.

Critical group rule: the Trader specialists are not bonus DPS. Their job is to craft inside the bunker. Carry them through the trash and protect the crafting rooms.

Rewards

A clean crawl rewards every member with components toward a complete Mandalorian Armor set: helmet, chest, leggings, biceps, bracers, gloves, boots, belt — plus an optional jetpack. The armor is wearable only by Bounty Hunter, Commando, and (since Hotfix 19.5) Officer characters, and is the signature visual flex of the SWG end-game.
