Medic is the support profession that keeps groups alive. It is the only base class able to heal other players, making it a constant presence in group content from early hunts through end-game raids. Medics use bacta-based abilities to restore Health, Action, and Mind pools, plus counter the negative effects of toxins, diseases, and combat wounds. The profession is built around triage decisions — when to spot heal, when to area heal, when to cure a debuff — and rewards players who know their group’s threat patterns.

From Master Medic two elite paths are common: Doctor, the pure support specialist with the strongest healing and buffs, and Combat Medic, the offensive hybrid that adds diseases, poisons, and area attacks.
