Profession
Bounty Hunter
CombatBounty Hunter is one of the NGE’s nine iconic professions and the profession Boba Fett embodies in the lore. Players are hired to track down marks — other players or NPCs — and eliminate them using a combination of rifles, carbines, ambush tactics, and tracking droids.
Role
The class is built for stalking and finishing a single target. Base stats favor constitution, stamina, and agility, with a sizable precision bonus for ranged accuracy. Innate Terrain Negotiation — introduced in Publish 27 — gives Bounty Hunters up to 65 points of movement-cost reduction, letting them pursue marks across rough terrain. From CL 22 onward, players can deploy tracking droids that locate marks across the galaxy by bio-signature.
Skill tree highlights
- Assault (Marks 1-8) — high-damage attack scaling through levels
- Ambush — opens with a critical-hit vulnerability buff on the target
- Cripple and Razor Net — bleed-and-snare combos for runners
- Tangle Bomb — placed trap that slows enemies in an area
- Burn — cone flame attack for AoE situations
- Bounty Check (Lv 86) — verifies whether a target has a bounty
- Droid Track — uses a tracking droid to pinpoint the mark
The expertise system splits between the Bounty Specialization tree (endurance, marksmanship, evasion, pain tolerance) and the Bounty Hunting tree (assault efficiency, ambush, hate management, shields).
