Profession
Combat Medic
MedicCombat Medic is the offensive hybrid elite branched from Medic and Marksman. Where a pure Doctor stays back-line and heals, a Combat Medic walks into the firefight — applying diseases and poisons to enemy targets, throwing area damage-over-time effects, and dropping group heals between volleys. The profession is built for sustained encounters where attrition and DoT pressure beat burst damage.
Role
Combat Medics craft and apply pharmacologically themed offensive abilities: diseases that drain enemy stat pools over time, poisons that bleed and weaken, and area DoT attacks that sustain pressure across a group of enemies. They retain Medic’s healing toolkit and add ranged-weapon competency from the Marksman prerequisite, making them effective on both sides of a fight. Combat Medics also craft and supply the high-end pharmaceuticals (stims, wound packs, and battle-grade enhancers) that medical-class players across the galaxy consume.
Skill tree highlights
- Disease Application — debuff DoTs targeting enemy HAM pools
- Poison Application — sustained bleed and weakness DoTs
- Area Combat Pharmaceuticals — AoE-style damage applications
- Stim and Wound Pack Crafting — high-end consumable production
- Group Healing — retains Medic’s group-support package
- Ranged Combat — retains Marksman pistol/carbine/rifle competency
Both Medic and Marksman prerequisites are mandatory because the profession draws equally on healing-craft pharmaceuticals and ranged combat applicators.

Combat Medic trainers live near medical centers in major starport cities — Mos Eisley and Bestine on Tatooine, Coronet on Corellia, Theed and Keren on Naboo. Many trainers are former military medics, reflecting the profession’s battlefield emphasis.
