Mandalorian Armor is the iconic end-game assault armor of Star Wars Galaxies, constructed from Bounty Hunter Armor components and craftable only within the Death Watch Bunker on Endor. Although most armor certifications were removed in Publish 28, Mandalorian Armor remained one of the few sets that kept its profession restrictions — wearable only by Bounty Hunters, Commandos, and (since Hotfix 19.5) Officers.

How to acquire

The schematics can only be crafted inside the Death Watch Bunker, a high-level group dungeon. Engineering-specialized Traders craft the helmet, bracers, and jetpack inside the droid engineer’s crafting room; Munitions-specialized Traders craft the chestplate, biceps, and boots inside the armorsmith room. A complete set includes helmet, chest, leggings, biceps, bracers, gloves, boots, and belt — plus an optional jetpack.

Why it matters

Mandalorian Armor is the signature visual flex of the SWG end-game. It is the armor worn by Boba Fett and by the Death Watch mercenaries inside the bunker, and the requirement to craft each piece inside the dungeon turns the full set into a multi-group logistical project.

Mandalorian’s profile is the strongest balanced kit in the standard armor lines — kinetic-leaning but with no soft spot. Compared to Composite Armor, Mandalorian trades modest energy resist (-5) for major gains across every other slot, particularly the elemental band (+10 to +15). It is one of the few sets that holds up well against creature damage and faction-content blaster damage alike. Only R.I.S. Armor clearly outpaces it in raw mitigation. Values are the canonical NGE end-game profile per SWG Fandom + SWGEmu wiki.
