Profession
Dancer
EntertainerDancer is one of the three elite branches of Entertainer, specializing in choreographed performance. Where the base Entertainer learns the fundamentals of both music and dance, a Master Dancer unlocks the full dance roster — every style, every flourish, every species-flavor routine — and the deepest inspiration buffs the profession can grant.
Role
Dancers perform in cantinas (and occasionally on private stages) to grant inspiration buffs that boost skill modifiers and experience gain for other professions. They also heal Mind wounds — the constant-debuff side effect combat classes accumulate — and provide the social anchor that keeps cantinas active hubs. High-level Dancer performance combines specific dances with timed flourishes for buff stacking and audience reaction bonuses.
Skill tree highlights
- Dance Library — access to dances unlocked tier by tier (Basic, Rhythmic, Footloose, Formal, Exotic, Lyrical, and beyond)
- Flourish Performance — the timing-skill mechanic that boosts buff potency
- Inspiration Buffs — the headline mod-buff package Dancers grant to listeners
- Wound Healing — Mind wound recovery for the audience
- Performance XP and tips — economic loop through audience tips and performance XP
Mastering Dancer requires roughly 63 skill points beyond the Entertainer prerequisite, plus Dance XP accumulated by performing in cantinas for live audiences.
Best trained at
Dancer trainers live in major cantinas — Mos Eisley and Bestine on Tatooine, Theed and Keren and Moenia on Naboo, Coronet on Corellia. Tipping the trainer’s resident dancers is good etiquette.
