Creature Resources
Bone
Creature › Bone
Bone is one of the four foundational Creature Resources in SWG (alongside Hide, Meat, and Milk). Creature Resources differ from Flora and Minerals in that they’re harvested from creature corpses rather than via harvesters — though endgame spawns of named bone sub-classes can be tracked similarly.
Stat profile
Bone carries OQ, CR, DR, HR, SR, MA, and UT — a structural stat set similar to Ferrous Metals. SR and UT are the most commonly weighted stats for armor recipes that use bone inputs.
Where to find it
Every creature-bearing planet — effectively all twelve — drops Bone resources from its creatures. Sub-class distribution varies by creature type; large beasts (rancors, krayts, gurks) tend to drop higher-quality bone sub-classes.
Crafter notes
Armorsmiths use Bone in bone-plate inserts on certain armor types. Tailors draw from Bone for accessory and decorative schematics. The class is high-volume on the buying side because creature harvesting yields steady quantities.
Typical uses
- Armorsmith bone-plate inserts and segment plating
- Tailor accessory and decoration schematics
- Specialty trader bone-component recipes
- Filler structural input where bone-class slots apply
