Talus
Talus is a planet in the Corellian system, sharing a gravitational center with its twin Tralus. It looks like Corellia at first glance — same architecture, same general geography — but it is greener, wetter, more forested, and far less populated. The sky here is a rich purple rather than Corellia’s yellow.
In the galaxy
Talus reads as contested. Dearic hosts Rebel recruiting infrastructure, Nashal mixes a Rebel Coordinator with an Imperial Mission Terminal, and the Talus Imperial Outpost gives the Empire a fortified anchor with Stormtroopers, AT-STs, and an Imperial recruiter. Wilderness hostiles include the anarchist Aa’kuans, the Binayre Pirates, and descendants of the Aqualish from the Corellian wars, plus Erran Sif and her fugitive brothers as a named mid-to-high-level threat.
Key locations
Two real cities (Dearic and Nashal) plus the star-shaped Imperial Outpost cover the populated landscape. Beyond them, the Detainment Center, the Kahmurra Biogenetic Research Station, the Lost Village of Durbin, the Talus Weapons Depot, the Binayre Pirate Bunker, the Aa’kuan Champion’s Cave, and the Giant Fynock Cave round out a solid mid-level POI set. The Tortur, one of the most visually distinctive creatures in SWG, lairs on Talus.
Notable for
Talus is a former starting planet and remains an excellent training ground for new players: peaceful, low-population, and with a wildlife slope that runs gently from newbie to advanced levels. Corellian Architecture is buildable on both Talus and Corellia, so builders often choose Talus when they want a quieter neighborhood. The Detainment Center, Kahmurra, and Lost Village of Durbin questing chains keep the planet relevant for mid-game players.
