Swoop Bike

The Swoop is the high-speed single-seater hovering racer that defined the bounty-hunter aesthetic in Return of the Jedi. In Star Wars Galaxies it is the fastest ground-bound civilian vehicle and the centerpiece of player swoop-racing tournaments.

Role in the galaxy

Swoops are everywhere on Tatooine and Lok — the canyon-heavy worlds where their speed pays off. The vehicle is the go-to choice for Bounty Hunters chasing marks across long planetary distances, and for any player who values travel time over passenger capacity.

How to obtain

Crafted by an Artisan from a vendor schematic, or bought from player bazaars. The swoop is single-occupant only — no pillion rider — so it is a pure travel and racing vehicle.

Variants

The base Swoop has multiple performance variants and aftermarket paint jobs sold on bazaars. The fastest factory model approaches the speeds of the military BARC Speeder, but with worse handling at top speed.
