X-34 Landspeeder

The X-34 Landspeeder is the iconic civilian speeder of Star Wars Galaxies — the same SoroSuub model Luke Skywalker drove out of Anchorhead in A New Hope, and the first vehicle most players acquire after leaving the starting space station.

Role in the galaxy

The X-34 is a two-passenger, low-altitude ground speeder used by nearly every faction-neutral citizen on Tatooine, Naboo, and Corellia. It is the canonical “first wheels” purchase — slower than a swoop, less flashy than a BARC, but cheap, durable, and tradeable.

How to obtain

The X-34 deed is crafted by an Artisan using a vendor-bought schematic, or purchased pre-crafted from player bazaars across the major civilian worlds. The vehicle is summoned from the deed and persists in inventory between summons, making it the standard first vehicle for new arrivals.

Trivia

The X-34’s distinctive forward-swept nose and twin rear thrusters make it instantly recognizable. It shares the SoroSuub design lineage with several other civilian speeders in the game, but only the X-34 carries the “Luke’s speeder” cultural weight.
