Legacy Quest
The Legacy Quest is the core narrative quest line of the New Game Enhancements and the canonical leveling path for any new SWG character. The arc starts in Mos Eisley on Tatooine with Vourk ver’Zemp — the first liaison most players meet after the Tansarii Point Station tutorial — and eventually takes the character across the galaxy. Completing the entire chain brings a character from CL1 to CL40 or higher.
How to start
After completing the New Player Tutorial on Tansarii Point Station, Han Solo drops new characters into Mos Eisley, where Vourk ver’Zemp opens the chain. The Jabba’s Theme Park chain can be slotted into the Legacy arc as a sub-track.
Faction split
Players may run the Legacy for either the Rebellion or the Empire. Note that this is not formal factional affiliation — players do not need to join either military to complete it, though dialogue and contact NPCs differ slightly between paths. Completion through the original Naboo ending awards one of two medals with identical stats:
- Medal of Bothawui — Rebel Legacy completion
- Medal of the Emperor’s Fist — Imperial Legacy completion
The Corellia extension, ending with Lt. Jaspers, additionally awards the Medal for Distinguished Service. Final delivery of the four recovered droid modules to the player’s Rebel or Imperial contact closes the Legacy proper; subsequent Corellia missions and a Captain Panaka follow-up on Naboo extend the arc.
Strategy tips
The Legacy is solo-friendly and designed to introduce the player to every core SWG mechanic. Because it cuts across multiple planets, it pairs naturally with planet-specific badges and exploration collections; many players accept and stockpile Legacy quests, then complete them in a single trip when their character reaches the relevant planet.
