Guilds of SWG Restoration

2 guilds on file · in-game organizations and player-run groups

Star Wars Galaxies is the kind of MMO where the most important things happen in chat. Guilds — called PAs, "Player Associations," in the client code — are how players sort themselves into something larger than a hunting group: a flag tag over your head, a shared hall on Corellia or Naboo, a Discord room where someone is always sourcing Krayt pearls, and a side in the Galactic Civil War that other players actually recognise.

SWGDB treats "guild" broadly. The records below cover two distinct kinds of organization. In-game NPC guilds (Bounty Hunters Guild, Pilots Guild, the various trade guilds) are systems baked into the game — joining one unlocks contracts, missions, or starfighter access through the Pilot and bounty-hunting professions. Player-run guilds (PAs) are everything else: faction militias, crafting cooperatives, roleplay houses, social drinking groups, and end-game raiding teams that clear heroic instances together on a fixed schedule.

Restoration's player-guild landscape changes month to month. Rather than publish a roster that goes stale within a patch cycle, SWGDB anchors this page on the in-game guild systems (which are stable game content) and points active players at the canonical community channels for finding a PA today.

For guild leaders

Submit your guild to SWGDB

Running an active PA on Restoration? SWGDB will index your guild alongside the in-game organizations so prospective members can find you the same way they look up a profession or a planet. We ask for the guild name, faction, primary planet, leader's in-game character name, recruitment status, and (optionally) a Discord invite. No real-name attribution — character names only.

The most accurate roster of active Restoration guilds always lives with the community itself. Three channels worth checking before SWGDB's index is fully populated:

  • swgr.org/senate/ →

Official Restoration community forum. Recruitment threads live here; PA leaders post charters and open roster slots.

  • In-game /who command

Type /who -guild <tag> on any planet to see online members of a specific PA. /who with no args shows everyone currently in your zone — guild tags hover above names in the world, so a five-minute pass through Mos Eisley or Coronet is usually enough to spot the active PAs.

  • Restoration Discord

Linked from swgr.org. The #recruitment channel is where active PAs cycle their recruitment pitches. New players asking "any casual PA on for newbies" typically get pinged in under an hour.

The in-game guild records on this page are sourced from the canonical SWG community wikis at swg.fandom.com, wiki.swgr.org, and wiki.swgemu.com, cross-referenced against Wookieepedia for film-canon detail.

Player-guild submissions are accepted by email and verified against the swgr.org senate threads before publication. SWGDB is not affiliated with any individual guild and does not endorse one PA over another.
