What we collect

SWGDB is a static site. We don't ask you to log in or hand us any personal data. We do collect basic analytics (via Google Analytics 4) about how the site is used — pages visited, approximate location, device type, referrer. We do not see your name, email, or any account information unless you contact us directly.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-7465007562895301) to display advertising. AdSense and its certified ad partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you'll see a consent banner before any advertising cookies are set. You can choose to consent, refuse consent, or manage specific purposes. If you refuse consent we will still serve non-personalized ads (contextual ads based on the page content, not on you). You can change your choices at any time using the privacy options link in the banner footer.

Site performance analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to measure page performance (load times, Web Vitals) and aggregate visitor counts. Vercel Analytics is cookie-less and does not track you across sites or use personally identifying information. See Vercel's privacy policy for details.

Cookies

The site itself sets one cookie for your preferences (e.g., theme — currently dark-only) if applicable. Analytics and AdSense set their own cookies; you can manage these in your browser.

Your data, your rights

If you're in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have rights to know what data is held about you, ask for it to be deleted, and opt out of certain processing. Email privacy@swgdb.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

SWGDB is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone in that age group.

We'll update this page when our practices change and post the new effective date at the top.
