AT-RT Walker

The AT-RT (All-Terrain Recon Transport) is the single-rider bipedal walker first deployed by the Republic during the Clone Wars and inherited by the Rebel Alliance as a scout platform in the Galactic Civil War.

Role in the galaxy

The AT-RT is a faction-restricted vehicle: Rebel-aligned players can purchase it from Rebel faction recruiters, while Imperial and neutral players cannot. It is one of the few non-creature walkers a player character can pilot directly.

How to obtain

Players reach a sufficient Rebel faction standing, then purchase the AT-RT deed from a Rebel faction recruiter for faction points. Like other faction vehicles, it carries an obvious allegiance signal — driving one through an Imperial-controlled city is an invitation to conflict.

Variants

The Rebel-issue AT-RT mirrors the Imperial-controlled AT-ST Walker in role and bipedal silhouette, though the AT-ST is the larger two-passenger model.
