AT-ST Walker

The AT-ST (All Terrain Scout Transport) is the two-legged “chicken walker” Imperial vehicle made famous by the Battle of Endor — and in Star Wars Galaxies it is the headline faction-restricted ground vehicle for Imperial players.

Role in the galaxy

The AT-ST seats two and is one of the largest player-pilotable ground vehicles in the game. Driving one is a clear Imperial faction declaration — the silhouette is unmistakable across Corellia, Naboo, and the forest moon of Endor.

How to obtain

The AT-ST is faction-restricted: players must reach a sufficient Imperial faction standing, then purchase the deed from an Imperial Recruiter for faction points. The vehicle counterpart for Rebel players is the AT-RT Walker.

Trivia

The AT-ST’s distinctive hopping gait and twin chin-mounted blasters make it the most cinematic vehicle a regular player can pilot. Imperial garrisons frequently parade them through occupied cities during major GCW events.
