Smuggler Trainer

The Smuggler Trainer is the NPC who teaches the underworld profession in Star Wars Galaxies — the same career path Han Solo walks. Trainers are typically tucked into the corners of starport districts or cantinas, in keeping with the profession’s not-quite-legal reputation.

Role in the galaxy

Smuggler covers spice-running, slicing weapons and armor for combat upgrades, fencing items, and a Pistol-flavored combat tree built around stealth and trick shots. The trainer sells skill boxes that unlock the slicing perks, smuggling cargo missions, spice production, and the iconic Smuggler combat specials. Players are directed here by the “You Need Work” intro tasks fed out of Tansarii Point Station and the Mos Eisley new-character funnel.

Where to find them

Smuggler Trainers can be found in Mos Eisley and Bestine on Tatooine, Coronet on Corellia, Theed on Naboo, and Dearic on Talus. Players also need to find Watto in Mos Espa to purchase the Piracy schematics that unlock the full Smuggler feature set — the trainer alone does not cover everything the profession needs.
