Krayt Dragon Tissue

Krayt Dragon Tissue is the organic material harvested from a slain Krayt Dragon on Tatooine — meat, hide, bone, and horn — and counts as one of the highest-grade creature resources in Star Wars Galaxies. Unlike the single-drop Krayt Dragon Pearl, tissues are harvested off the carcass by a Scout or Ranger using a survival knife.

How to acquire

A Scout or Ranger with sufficient Creature Knowledge skill harvests the carcass after the kill. Higher-tier Krayts (Canyon, Juvenile, Ancient) yield significantly more and higher-quality tissue per harvest, and harvesting itself can be skill-boosted by Ranger tools. There is no schematic or vendor source — tissue exists only as a hunting byproduct.

Why it matters

Krayt tissue feeds into the upper end of multiple crafting trees: high-end weapon schematics, certain armor segments, and Master Chef recipes that lean on premium creature meats. The Krayt Graveyard hunt is therefore a dual-purpose run — pearls for the Jedi crystal economy, tissues for the broader crafting economy — which is why the graveyard remains active on Restoration years into the server’s life.
