The Krayt Dragon Pearl is one of the most coveted loot drops in Star Wars Galaxies — a brilliant gemstone that forms inside a Krayt Dragon’s gizzard as the beast swallows and grinds stones over its long lifetime. Pearls drop only from Krayt Dragons, and only some kills yield one.

How to acquire

Pearls are loot-only — there is no schematic and no vendor sells them. A group must hunt and kill a Krayt Dragon in the Krayt Graveyard or elsewhere in the Tatooine Dune Sea. Adolescent, Canyon, Juvenile, and Ancient tiers can each drop pearls, with higher-tier dragons producing better stone grades. The drop is not guaranteed on every kill.

Why it matters

Inside a tuned Color Crystal, a Krayt Dragon Pearl adds flat damage modifiers to a Jedi’s lightsaber, and a single lightsaber can hold multiple pearls and Power Crystals alongside its identity crystal. The combination of permanent value, scarcity, and Jedi-only utility keeps pearls at the top of the auction economy on every server — the most recognizable trophy of an end-game Tatooine hunt.
