Brawler Trainer

The Brawler Trainer is the generic NPC who teaches new and existing characters the Brawler skill boxes — the entry-level melee profession in Star Wars Galaxies. Trainers wear local mercenary or combatant attire and stand at fixed locations in every major starter city.

Role in the galaxy

Players approach the Brawler Trainer once they have earned enough combat XP and weapon-family XP to purchase the next skill box in the Unarmed, One-Handed, Two-Handed, or Polearms branches. The trainer handles XP-and-credits payment and unlocks the corresponding skill modifiers, melee specials such as Melee Strike and Lunge, and the Center of Being defensive stance. Mastering all four branches costs 77 skill points and roughly 91,000 XP per weapon family.

Where to find them

Brawler Trainers are stationed in Mos Eisley and Bestine on Tatooine; Coronet, Kor Vella, and Tyrena on Corellia; Theed, Keren, and Moenia on Naboo; Dearic on Talus; Narmle and Restuss on Rori; and Nashal in the Talus countryside — every starter and sub-starter city has one. Their locations are listed in-game on the city map and signposted by the standard trainer waypoint beacon.
