Ubese Armor
uncommonUbese Armor is a reconnaissance-class armor set crafted by Munitions Traders. As reconnaissance armor it favors energy protection over kinetic and grants bonus resistance to bleeding and disease damage- over-time effects — the inverse of assault armor’s profile.
How to acquire
Crafted at the Munition Expertise III tier. The full set includes boots, jacket, chestplate, gloves, helmet, leggings, matched left/right bracers, a bandolier, and an Ubese shirt. Resource inputs include 310 units of Leathery Hide, 345 of Steel, 35 of Iron, 10 of Fiberplast, eleven Reconnaissance Armor Cores, seven Synthetic Cloths, and eight Reinforced Fiber Panels across the set. Wearable by Human, Zabrak, Mon Calamari, Rodian, Trandoshan, Bothan, Sullustan, and Twi’lek.
Why it matters
Ubese is the visual identity of stealth and infiltration in SWG — the same armor profile worn by Princess Leia disguising herself as the bounty hunter Boushh in Return of the Jedi. The bandolier and jacket appearance pieces make it one of the most cosmetically flexible armor sets in the game.
Mitigation profile
| Damage type | Resist % |
|---|---|
| Kinetic | 40 |
| Energy | 45 |
| Blast | 40 |
| Heat | 25 |
| Cold | 25 |
| Acid | 25 |
| Electric | 25 |
Ubese’s profile is the inverse of Composite Armor — energy-favored rather than kinetic-favored, recon-class rather than assault. It trades modest raw mitigation for cosmetic flexibility (bandolier + jacket appearance) and the canon-coded silhouette of an infiltrator. Best matched against blaster-heavy faction content; weaker against melee-heavy creature content where kinetic dominates. Values are the canonical NGE recon-tier crafted output per SWG Fandom + SWGEmu wiki.
