Jetpack

The Jetpack is a single-occupant personal flight unit modeled on Boba Fett’s signature Mitrinomon Z-6, and the most visible “you have completed end-game” status item in Star Wars Galaxies.

Role in the galaxy

The Jetpack grants full aerial mobility — a category no other player vehicle in NGE matches outside starships. It is the rarest civilian-accessible vehicle in the game and frequently paired with Mandalorian Armor for the full Boba Fett silhouette.

How to obtain

The Jetpack can only be crafted by an Engineering-specialized Droid Engineer Trader, and the craft itself must be performed inside the Death Watch Bunker on Endor — the same dungeon that gates Mandalorian Armor. The item is fully tradeable, which is unusual for end-game gear, so most players acquire one through bazaar purchase rather than personal crafting.

Stats and quirks

Performance is rated maximum across speed, acceleration, climb, and turn. Health is 1,500 HP. In NGE the Jetpack grants an 80% Glancing Blow chance modifier against ranged attacks (no protection in Pre-CU). The unit is immune to lava damage and can be re-deeded at any Garage for 31,500 credits if disabled.
