Echo Base Token of Heroism
rare
The Echo Base Token of Heroism is the per-clear reward for completing the Battle of Echo Base heroic on Hoth. It is the youngest of the heroic tokens — introduced in Chapter 11 alongside the encounter itself — and the only token in SWG that is faction-restricted at the source: only on-duty Rebel or on-duty Imperial groups can run the instance, so the token never enters the loot pool of a neutral character.
How to acquire
Every member of a faction-aligned group that successfully clears the full Battle of Echo Base encounter receives one token on completion. The instance runs roughly 60–90 minutes for a clean clear and carries a one-hour lockout, so a token-per-hour-per-character is the practical upper bound for farming — the same cadence as the original Chapter 7 heroics.
Why it matters
Tokens are exchanged at the Aurilia heroic vendor for Chapter 11 rewards: faction-themed armor segments, Hoth-themed décor, and the rare Hoth Tauntaun Mount drop on a low-rate independent of the token system. The Echo Base token slots cleanly into the existing token-rotation farming workflow: groups that already farm Axkva Min, IG-88, Tusken King, and Exar Kun on weekly rotations simply add Echo Base to the rotation once their characters declare faction.
Because the encounter is faction-locked, neutral characters cannot run Echo Base or earn the token — a structural difference from the four original Chapter 7 heroics, which are open to any combat-level-90 character regardless of GCW alignment.
