IG-88 Token of Heroism

The IG-88 Token of Heroism is the per-clear reward for finishing the IG-88 heroic instance — the Chapter 7 encounter staged inside Nym’s Factory Compound on Lok. Like the Axkva Min and Tusken King tokens it serves as Heroic vendor currency.

How to acquire

Every member of a group that successfully completes the IG-88 heroic receives one token on the final phase clear. The instance is gated by the Nym’s Slicer pre-quest, runs from a fast-paced battle-droid wave through droideka mid-bosses to IG-88 himself, and shares the one-hour lockout with most of the other Chapter 7 heroics.

Why it matters

The IG-88 token is one of the four “Chapter 7” tokens collected to access the upper tier of Heroic vendor offerings — droid-themed cosmetic items, schematics, and rotating décor in particular. Because the IG-88 fight is the shortest of the original heroics in raw duration but the least forgiving on positioning, the token also doubles as a status signal: it proves the player’s group survived a fight notorious for melting tanks in seconds.
