YT-1300 Light Freighter

The YT-1300 is the Corellian Engineering Corporation light freighter — the same ship class as Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon, and the canonical multi-crew player starship in Star Wars Galaxies.

Role in the galaxy

The YT-1300 is the only entry-tier multi-passenger ship most pilots ever own. Pilot, co-pilot, gunner, and engineer stations let a small crew of players fly it together — making it the social-PvE workhorse of the space game. Roleplay smuggler outfits and player guilds frequently use a YT-1300 as their “home ship.”

How to obtain

Crafted by a master Shipwright from blueprints purchased through the pilot career or recovered from space-zone loot. The hull is expensive — most players buy components piecewise and have a crafter assemble the final ship.

Trivia

Despite the Han Solo association, the YT-1300 in SWG is faction-neutral. Imperial pilots can own one as readily as Rebel pilots; the ship is a chassis, not a political statement.
