Jabba the Hutt

Jabba Desilijic Tiure — known across the galaxy simply as Jabba the Hutt — is the bloated crime lord who runs a sprawling smuggling and spice empire from his palace on Tatooine’s northeastern Dune Sea. In Star Wars Galaxies he is the gatekeeper of one of the most recognizable themepark chains in the game.

Role in the galaxy

Jabba sits on his throne dais in the central chamber of the palace, flanked by Bib Fortuna, Salacious Crumb, the Rancor pit grate, and a rotating cast of bounty hunters and dancers. He hires the player as freelance muscle, dispatching them across Tatooine and beyond on jobs that range from “deliver this package quietly” to “go kill this person” — the canonical Hutt employment package.

Where to find them

Jabba’s Palace lies in the Northeastern Dune Sea on Tatooine, easily reached by speeder from Mos Eisley. The themepark is a multi-stage quest chain rewarding faction tokens, credits, badges, and themepark items. Players must work their way through Jabba’s lieutenants to earn an audience, and completing the full chain unlocks the Jabba’s Palace badge and a vanity title.
