The Merchant Tent is a small, single-lot structure designed to park a player vendor in the open rather than inside a closed building. The silhouette is a fabric canopy stretched over a frame — instantly recognisable as a market stall — and the structure is a Merchant profession staple.

Role in the galaxy

A Merchant Tent placed at a high-traffic starport district or in a Player City bazaar can carry a vendor without the player having to build a full residence on the spot. Master Merchants typically run tents at multiple planets to keep their vendor footprint distributed.

How to obtain

Crafted by an Architect from the small-structures branch of the schematics tree. Like every player structure it consumes a lot from the placing character’s pool; the tent’s footprint is one of the smallest possible options for a vendor host.
